CHARLES T. KLEINTOP is the managing partner of the law firm of Stirling & Kleintop and practices family law exclusively. He has been a member of the Hawai`i Bar since 1973 and is also a member of the District of Columbia and California Bars. Mr. Kleintop received his B.A. degree in Political Science from Lehigh University in 1967 and his J.D. degree from Georgetown University in 1970. He has practiced family law in Hawai`i for over thirty (30) years and has been named in The Best Lawyers in America for the past twenty (20) years. He has also been named by Honolulu Magazine as one of Hawai`i's best lawyers and his firm has been recognized in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. Mr. Kleintop is the current Chairperson of the Disciplinary Board of the Hawai`i Supreme Court. He is also a former Chairperson of the Family Law Section of the Hawai`i State Bar Association. Mr. Kleintop has been a frequent speaker on various family law topics for over twenty (20) years. He is also a retired Colonel in the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve.
